I met Mr Norton for the first time today and I am delighted with how the meeting went. From the start it was apparent Mr Norton had reviewed the previous replacement to my right hip and the recent x-ray prior to my arrival. This familiarisation with my history gave me much reassurance. This was a 6 month follow up appointment where I had a few questions about how I was doing. My hip replacement was feeling fine but I was worried that my tendon repair had failed. After examination, Mr Norton took the time to explain that the repair had not failed but what I was experiencing was tendinitis. It was a relief that the repair had not failed. He was excellent at putting my mind at ease.

I saw Mr Norton on the 8th June. The was a post op visit and as always he was very reassuring and kind. He is a brilliant surgeon and the quality of care he has provided for me is amazing. I can never thank him enough for this.

I felt reassured from the beginning and so was not anxious about the operation, which went well. I have made a good recovery, fortunately experiencing few, if any, of the possible side effects which had been explained to me.
