From the initial consultation we had with Dr Bruce, we felt at ease that our child was in the right hands. He was professional, thorough and understanding. During examinations our child was happy and Dr Bruce’s calm nature played a huge part in this. His admin team did a great job at ensuring my child’s operation was booked in at a time suitable for us as a family. On the day of her surgery, we were met again by the friendly Dr Bruce who was lovely with our daughter. We thank Dr Bruce for all his support and specialist care in ensuring our daughter has a better quality of life.

Our teenage son's happiness and confidence had been affected by his prominent ears and we wanted to find out what we could do to support our son, hence booking in with Professor Bruce. From start to finish and at all times Professor Bruce listened with care, thoughtfully and comprehensively explained the medical position and our son's options. Immediately following the initial consultation with Professor Bruce, our son (and us as parents) felt reassured and happy that there was something that could be done, if that was what our son wanted. Our son decided he wanted to have a bilateral pinnaplasty - Professor Bruce carried out this procedure and he has done a brilliant job. As soon as the bandages came off our son looked like a different person, not just because of the physical change to his ears but because he looked really very happy, much happier than we have seen him in a long time. Prof Bruce explained all the treatment to us in clear terms. He was great with our 3yo son and welcomed any questions from us at all stages of treatment.

Professor Bruce is fantastic. We highly recommend anyone who is personally suffering or has children suffering with any ear, nose and throat issues to engage with Professor Bruce. Our son had glue ear which was causing speech issues, and also enlarged tonsils and adenoids leading to sleep apnoea. He had them removed by Prof. Bruce last week and already noticing the benefits. Prof. Bruce is an expert in his field, and he made the whole process very easy and comforting. After surgery he attended our room to inform us how the procedure went and advised well on how to ensure a smooth recovery. Today (1 week later) we attended a follow up appointment to ensure all was ok, and again the whole process was easy. We cannot thank him enough and as above would advise anyone to visit him to treat these types of issues!

Professor Iain Bruce examined our 4 week old baby and conducted tongue tie procedure. He considered all options for the treatment needed for our daughter whilst also reassuring myself and my partner of the best outcome for her future of breastfeeding. We felt at ease throughout the whole process, the appointment was arranged quickly and efficiently. He made our daughter calm before carrying out the procedure which was completed in minutes. His office rang within two weeks to check how her healing was and feeding. I would highly recommend using Iain for this procedure and any ENT issues.

Professor Bruce was excellent with our 2 year old from his initial examination to surgery, he was extremely understanding, easy to get in touch with and arrange appointments, and the surgery was exceptional. If necessary (hopefully not) we won't hesitate to return to him and his team.

We cannot recommend Professor Bruce enough after my 2 year old son’s tonsillectomy. He was extremely courteous and went through everything with us before and after his op. He was brilliant with my son and I would highly recommend him and his services.
