Professor Patel is the consummate professional who has dedicated himself to his vocation of helping people using his amazing surgical skills. He has an incredibly calming and supportive bedside manner and goes above beyond in all aspects of the care and service he provides to his patients. I feel truly blessed that he was recommended to me to perform my liver resection surgery and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Professor Patel is very approachable and personable. He followed up regularly after the operation until I was discharged.

Professor Patel is exceptionally good himself. He is charming, very clear, helpful and attentive. He explains things clearly and takes time to ensure understanding. However, once I was ill with acute pancreatitis and had to come off the injections I never had any contact again to check that I was OK even though it is a known side effect (I had months of problems and a gallbladder removal). The team around him - nutritionists and counsellors were pretty unavailable and in my view unhelpful and not using latest science - suggesting highly processed low fat foods. But to go back ... if this review is about Professor Patel specifically I found him personally very good.

I had a gastric bypass and the care was outstanding. He explained everything very clearly and had a very pleasant bedside manner. He came in each morning to check on me and answered any questions i had leading up to the surgery, one the day and after. I received amazing care and i am very happy with the outcome and the after care.

It was a pleasure to be treated by such a wonderful doctor. And the result is excellent and I recommend him to anyone.

Professor Ameet Patel was absolutely wonderful from first contact up until when he eventually signed me off after having my gallbladder removed after being in severe pain for a very long time once I was asked to see Professor Patel things moved extremely quickly as he immediately recognised the pain I was in and reacted immediately and explained everything in a way that I could understand and of course he has an impeccable bedside manner being such a super professional and super nice guy
