I had a Zoom consultation with Dr Philip Moyneaux and was anxious about my condition. He was extremely reassuring and gave answers to my questions and made other points clearly and patiently. He also explained what future tests etc would be needed and I was notified of those arrangements soon after we spoke.

It is definitely a time when you want the very best specialist on your side. I was very fortunate as I was referred to Dr. Molyneaux at The Royal Brompton. He was very reassuring and explained that there may be no current cure but, while research continues, treatments were available to slow down the progression of the disease along with some medical trials if I wished to participate. After some investigations Dr Molyneaux quickly arranged for me to start a course of medication and also some excellent rehabilitation. He continues to monitor my condition but, to date, these have allowed me to carry on very much as normal. Dr. Molyneaux is part of a team that are at the cutting edge of research into pulmonary diseases. He is hugely knowledgeable and passionate about his speciality but he is also a very nice guy and most definitely a specialist you will be hugely thankful to have on your side.

I had previously been under the care of another eminent consultant who had relocated and I was concerned about transferring. However, I immediately warmed to Mr. Molyneux, whom I found extremely approachable, reassuring and caring. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and I am very pleased to be under his care.
