Dr. Stevenson is informative and very clear about your options! I was there for discomfort of fissure and hemorrhoids recurrent. She advised the fissures are not going away easily and require some lifestyle changes for the long term. With some helpful advice, like increasing fiber intake massively and sitz baths. I’m in comfort for a long time, no recurrent symptoms so far.

Lynn was truly amazing, I had been suffering haemorrhoids for years. Something I was managing in my daily life because I was too embarrassed to seek help. It got to the point where I wasn’t comfortable going very far from home and I knew I had to bite the bullet and do something about it. From the first meeting with Lynn she was so compassionate, understanding and very subtle, I was Immediately at ease( strangely even though I knew I was about to bare my biggest secret) After examination Ms Stevenson explained my options with no pressure to answer straight away. So after taking some time to consider my options I decided on removal. Again Lynn was amazing but this time in preparing me for what lay ahead as it would be in the beginning of recovery quite painful.( she joked about me having her face on dart board) Well the day of the operation arrived I was nervous to say the least but again as soon as I saw Lynn she put me at ease again. We spoke once more about how I was, and about my operation then after a quick examination I was prepared to go to theatre. Post operation and now back home I was experiencing exactly what I had been prepared for by Lynn but in case my recovery was a little longer given the state I’d let my body get in after years of neglect. Lynn was checking in with me daily by email and by phone, she even offered to come into the hospital on a Sunday in her own free time to see me as I was starting to worry as I wasn’t feeling any better. Just knowing Lynn was on hand put me at ease and I soon began to start feeling a difference just as Lynn had said and I went from strength to strength getting better and better as each day past. As I sit here writing this I am fully recovered and am forever in Ms Lynn Stevenson’s debt for ending my years of self inflicted torture. Thank you so much Lynn you really have changed my life, the worries I had are no more.
