I first contacted Lucy late June 2023 regarding the Botox injection for RCPD (inability to burp) and was able to get an appointment early Sept. I was nervous for the treatment, but Lucy was understanding, professional and reassuring. The treatment itself was surprisingly quick and nowhere near as uncomfortable as I had prepared myself for! Lucy is clearly a highly experienced specialist, and I'm so thankful that this treatment exists. (Just 30 hours after the injection, I started burping which is honestly incredible to me). I can't emphasise enough how refreshing it is to finally find a doctor who not only understands this still relatively unknown condition but can actually treat it. I would highly advise anyone suffering with RCPD to contact her.

I sent this to Lucy, but worth sharing with everyone else too: I had the RCPD injection to help me burp. Everything went as expected, except the injection which was no way near as bad as I thought! It was the best decision of my life. I am still burping like a total trooper and it shows no sign of stopping. My other symptoms of bloating, sickness, embarrassment have gone. I can’t believe people feel this good all the time! I can’t thank you enough for what you have done, and I have also told my family and friends who I know have this, to book an appointment with you!
