Following this, Mr Bhattacharya came to the UK in 2000 for further training and developed his skills further. He is currently a Consultant at Ayr Hospital, where he has been practising since 2009.
Mr Bhattacharya is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, and is a member of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. He also has several research publications in medical journals.

From the offset Dr Bhattacharya was extremely professional, kind and compassionate about my situation. I was extremely nervous and stressed about my colonoscopy but I was made to feel understood and like I was finally getting the help I needed. His cheerful disposition put me at ease right away. I had two consultations with Dr Bhattacharya prior to and after surgery, within both I was greeted with warmth, compassion. During these Consultations it was clear the Mr Bhattacharya was both extremely knowledgeable in his field and passionate about helping others. The pre surgery treatment and surgery process ran in perfect sequence and I was able to get booked in very quickly. In my final consultation, the end results were explained to me with compassion. Mr Bhattacharya has the best bedside manner of any dr I have come across. I was reassured every step of the way. No hesitation that dr Bhattacharya was the right dr for me.

Dr Bhattacharya was first class and I would highly recommend him . His calming nature and professionalism will put any fears you may have at ease . From the very first consultation his communication has been outstanding , taking time to make sure you fully understand at every stage of your process .
