I had my lens replacement surgery done by Mr Anandan and I could fault it anyway from the consultation through to the surgery - I was nervous on the day the procedure was done and Mr Anandan and his team made me feel really comfortable and at ease. The actual procedure was smooth and painless and all throughout the procedure I was spoken to which made me feel at ease. I feel it is very important to have the best practice and surgeon when it comes to your eyes - I was offered the treatment at a lower price by another company but I am so glad I chose to go with Mr Anandan as the results of the surgery are much better than I ever anticipated. I would not think twice to recommend Mr Anandan to anyone and I already have a few friends looking to go with him for the same surgery. Thank you Mr Anandan and team.

I had multifocal lens replacements installed yesterday evening. I was on 3 different prescriptions prior to this and finally took the plunge to improve my quality of life. Less than 24hrs later, I'm typing this review, minus glasses! I was really nervous about the procedure but I can assure you that the thought of it is far far worse than reality. Completely painless, just very minor discomfort for a few hours afterwards. I couldn't believe how quick and straightforward the surgery was...!! Mr Anandan and the team were professional and friendly from the initial consultation right through to the procedure itself. Also I had a follow up call this morning from Mr Anandan to check that everything was ok. The experience couldn't have been better and I would recommend it to anyone. The amazing thing was, I read the aftercare instructions this morning, just a few hours after surgery... and it suddenly dawned on me, I'd read them without glasses! Mr Anandan came highly recommended and I can see why.....Life changing.

I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes by my optician. He recommended Mr Anandan, as I had had problems with my eye sight for 50+ years, for which I wore contact lenses and glasses. Mr Anandan saw me and explained what could be done to get rid of the cataracts and to improve my vision. Both eyes were done at the same time and now I have great intermediate and distance vision, better than I have ever had, just need glasses for reading. I was more than happy with the outcome following all the proceedures and all I can say now is THANK YOU.

It has been 4 months since my eye surgery at Nuffield Hospital in Derby. Prior to this, I met Mr Anandan for the first; enquiring about this intraocular lens transplant. It was a frightening experience for me, but Mr Anandan put me at ease exuding confidence of achieving success. Explaining that he would not have attempted such a procedure if I had come to him some 15 years ago. Since the age of eight, I have had to endure everything that came with being very short sighted (myopia) and acute astigmatism. Now at the age of 56, I felt it was time. -15.00 with a -4.00 cyl. in the right eye and -9.00 with a -4.50 cyl. in the left. Contact lenses and spectacles have always been difficult for me to attain. Now I am -0.25 with a 1.25 cyl. in the right and 0..yes 0 in the left! These results have even astonished the optometrist and Mr Anandan. I am well pleased!

Mr Anandan is very professional and approachable, you feel you can ask him as many questions as you like. He explainded the procedure in an understandable way and included any limitations that may happen. As I was very long sighted, (one eye over +9, the other over +8), he explaned that I may need to use reading glasses, after the lens replacement. I am pleased to say that this is not the case. For the first time in 60 years I am glasses free. I would recommend Mr Anandan if you were considering lens replacement.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and overall manner of Mr Anandan. Also, the cataract operation on both eyes completed at the same time was fascinating and successful.
