Mr Anandam carried out Cataract operation on both eyes to the extent that I now have 20/ 20 vision. During both operations Mr Anandan explained the procedure very clealy to me which was very supportive. I am very pleased with the level of support I have received throughout the whole process

I conducted extensive research and took into account personal recommendations prior to my lens replacement surgery. In my opinion Mr Anandan was the only surgeon for me which proved to be the case. Anyone considering this should have total confidence in him. For me this operation has been 100% successful which I can only describe as life changing. I had clear lens extraction on each of my eyes undertaken by Mr Anandan. My prescription was extremely poor (-15). I have worn glasses since the age of 5 and contact lenses for over 40 years. Mr Anandan recommended toric lens implants for me. The surgery was straightforward and painless with immediate results. The whole experience has been fantastic and the outcome even better than expected. I undertook an eye test 6 weeks after surgery and I now have 20:20 vision, a life changing outcome. I had an atoric lense implant 8 weeks ago after many years of eye problems plus acute astigmatism in right eye. My operation from start to finish was excellent. All staff involved including reception, opticians , nurses anyone involved were all very professional, helpful and friendly. Waiting time was minimal. I have had corneal Lamellar graft done for Keratoconus related high astigmatism in both eyes. Type of graft I had was Deep Anterior Lamellar keratoplasty (DALK). 1st eye has improved to 20/20 with just 1 diopter of astigmatism. I am very pleased with how both of these operations have been carried out by Dr Anandan. I was unaware of how my eyes would be after the operation. But after having the right eye which was operated back in 2012, the vision that has come through is absolutely amazing, giving me vision I could have not dreamt of. Mr Anandan was recommended by a close friend who had excellent treatment in the past. He diagnosed Fuch's Endothelial Dystrophy, needing an Endothelial graft in both eyes. Two weeks ago he operated on the left eye at Derby Royal Hospital. A 30 minute op under local anaesthetic. No pain, no need for painkillers, some slight discomfort. Sight has already much improved. At all times Mr Anandan has been informative, skilled, and all has gone so well. I would be more than happy to recommend him and await the next op on my left eye.
