Excellent everyone was professional friendly and efficient. Full explanation given at all times.
A true professional with a great ability to explain the reasons for issues related to shoulder problems and very decisive in administering a solution. I have nothing but praise for the man who has helped get me back on track and on the road to recovery.
I am so happy that Jeremy carried out my surgery. From beginning to end he explained everything and gave me confidence. The surgery was perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeremy to others.
Totally professional - yet fully personal and caring Excellent
As a fellow doctor myself, I can only highly commend Mr. Granville-Chapman for his diligence, knowledge and overall clinical expertise. I felt my concerns were appropriately addressed, my operation was booked within 2 weeks and my post-op recovery has been surprisedly advanced and stress free. I am absolutely delighted with the whole process. Special thanks to Kate Breslin, his secretary; absolutely professional to the end and highly competent.
Mr Jeremy Granville-Chapman
Really glad you found the process smooth and you’re making a good recovery. Thank you for your review and for mentioning Kate too: she works very hard to be as helpful as possible. Best wishes. Jeremy
I am so happy that I chose Jeremy to carry out my rotator cuff surgery recently. Jeremy explained everything clearly from the beginning and gave me confidence in the way he spoke with experience about my injury and what he wanted to try and achieve during surgery to help me. Jeremy did not make me feel old with the "well at your age", usual comments!!!! Did an absolutely beautiful job of the surgery and achieved everything and more than I could have hoped for. My recovery so far is excellent and I cant praise you enough. Thank You.
In 2018 I had arthroscopic subacromial decompression and acromioclavicular joint excision at the hands of Lt. Col Jeremy Granville-Chapman to remedy an injury I sustained during my time in the British Army. Mr. Graville-Chapman explained everything regarding the options available to me, listened to my feedback, provided me with references to look at, and took my concerns seriously. He took a no-nonsense approach to finding the best solution to my injury, presenting competence and professionalism throughout our appointments. When it came to the day of surgery I had absolute confidence in his ability. A year on and it is as though I was never injured; I can lift weights at the gym, go rock climbing, play racquet sports, and perform day-to-day tasks without pain, impingement, or discomfort. This past bank holiday weekend I helped a friend set-up and tear-down the truss, lighting, and audio equipment for a concert/garden party in Windsor; this involved a great deal of lifting heavy equipment such as speakers, amplifiers, sub-woofers, stage lights, distribution boxes, and mixing desks - a year ago it would have been impossible but today I can act with confidence knowing that my injury is behind me.
I am very glad I chose Mr Chapman upon discovering I would need an acromioclavicular joint reconstruction. He inspired confidence from the first time I met him and I always felt he was in total control of the situation. Not only this he was always more than happy to help answer questions or to ease troubled minds. It is currently 10 days after my operation now. I have noticed no complications thus far, and am gradually recovering more and more motion through rehab.
Amazing support and clarity. I hVe seen a lot of surgeons in the past two years and this had been the best
I can't speak highly enough of Jeremy, an extremely talented surgeon with a very calming, friendly and thoughtful approach. He puts you immediately at ease, and you have the confidence to under go a complicated operation.
Once I finally got to see Mr Granville-Chapman I found him very proactive and knowledgeable. Arranged an X Ray within the same appointment time. Only issue was the 45m delay on the appointment time.
My experience with Mr. G-C has been very good, as that with Dr. Youl, both very professional , informative and inspire confidence that your treatment will be the best. However, the process of booking appointments/surgery has been quite a challenge! It seems Kate is constantly waiting for the hospital to give her dates for consultations/surgery so I have had to chase fir these continually. The same with my appointment with Dr Youl, no one contacted me so in the end I rang his secretary to book an appointment, it was clear she had no knowledge of me. (Dr Youl had picked up on this communication problem as we discussed it when I saw him). I fully appreciate I don't have a life threatening condition, and thought perhaps these delays were because of demand at PMH, but my pre-assessment nurse seemed really surprised it had taken so long to get to the surgery stage, which is why I am highlighting this issue.
Mr Granville-Chapman was very polite and his examination and explanation of my symptoms and expected treatment was thorough .
I found Mr Granville-Chapman to be very knowledgeable and professional. He put me very much at ease and explained all the options that I have thoroughly. He also told me to look for further information on the condition and procedures that I needed on his website, which gave lots of information and detail. It was also easy to understand for those without a medical background. I would highly recommend his services to anyone that has shoulder problems and requires a solution.
I attended for a repair of my right bicep tendon. After a thorough examination, Mr Granville-Chapman arranged an operation to be undertaken within 2 days which was extremely quick; he explained his reasoning which was both thorough and reassuring, explaining both the options of undergoing surgery and deciding to undertake conservative management. On the day of the surgery Mr Granville-Chapman was again very reassuring as although this is minor surgery I was still somewhat apprehensive. He came to fully explain the procedure and afterI woke up was quick to check on how I was doing. Overall I am very happy with the careMr Granville-Chapman
I have been very pleased with my treatment so far. Mr Granville-Chapman combines brisk efficiency with a pleasant, sympathetic manner. My operation, however, is still to come .....
From the initial consultation, through surgery on a fractured wrist, and now post-operative follow up, it has been a very positive and reassuring experience with Mr Granville-Chapman. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to someone else.
A first class clinician. A skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner.
A very pleasant Consultant who knows exactly how to make pain go away.
Excellent advise with everything explained clearly and a successful treatment which has benefited be greatly.
Very pleasant. Clear, careful explanations & options/possibilities. I feel well informed, and happy that my concerns are being well addressed, with a plan of review of the symptoms.
Polite, helpful, professional. Makes an effort to ensure full understanding of issues and procedures to be done. Highly satisfied

So far my experience with Mr Jeremy Granville-Chapman has been personal and informative with regard to the operation I will be having. I feel confident that my operation will be a success and for this reason I am very happy to have Mr Jeremy Granville-Chapman as my consultant.
Mr Granville-Chapman has looked after my 15 year old son brilliantly, explaining the surgery, recovery and best way forward, and Kate has been very supportive helping with logistics etc, thank you so much.
I recently broke my right clavicle in a mountain bike accident and it was repaired by Mr Granville-Chapman by adding a plate on top of the bone. Having just finished the last post-op consultation, I can confirm that I have been very happy with the process all along. In particular, Jeremy took time to explain in detail why a plate was needed, what the procedure would entail, and also was very patient answering my questions comprehensively beforehand and after during the recovery phase. Would certainly trust this competent surgeon to fix any future fractures I might sustain.
Mr Granville chapman I found be caring informative and professional I would recommend him to all if you have a problem don't hesitate to contact him you won't be disappointed.
Mr Granville - Chapman has an excellent bedside manner. He engaged with my 12 year old son at an appropriate level and took the time to ensure that he understood the procedure and answer all his questions. He is thoroughly professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
