Having qualified with a distinction from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School in 2001, Jeremy completed his Medical Officer training at Sandhurst Military Academy, where he came top in The Order of Merit for the year. Following that, he joined the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards as their Regimental Medical Officer before commencing surgical training. During his surgical training, Jeremy spent a year doing surgical research which culminated in his Doctorate of Medicine degree. Our first point of contact was Mr Granville-Chapman's excellent medical secretary who understood our daughter's needs and the time sensitive nature of her operation. She alerted us as soon as there was a cancellation so we could be seen quickly. Mr Granville-Chapman was welcoming and reassuring. He clearly explained the necessary procedure and each step of my daughter's care. He explained the associated risks but not in an alarmist way given my daughter was in the consultation room. We felt very confident that he appreciated our concerns re timings and he, and his amazing secretary, arranged surgery (not so easy for a child with so many protocols in place regarding paediatric nursing care) to take place the following week. We were fully informed every step of the way. The surgery and after care were all exceptional.

I was referred to Mr Granville-Chapman after receiving physiotherapy for tennis elbow. Whilst I didn't require any treatment other than carrying out some regular exercises I was very reassured that my elbow was thoroughly examined. The letter I received after each consultation was extremely detailed and allowed me to double check I hadn't forget to mention anything and that I had remembered everything that I was told (if you have a poor memory be assured you won't need to take notes).

Jeremy has a very understanding manner and I felt very reassured to hear his explanation about my concerns regarding my shoulder. I was very worried that there was an underlying condition but once he had explained what the cause was I felt relieved and could carry on with my activities. Jeremy is very easy to talk to and always explains things thoroughly. Thank You
