My overall experience with Mr de Klerk was amazing, from the first appointment within literally hours of a phone call and then being allocated a day for surgery was something that nowhere else within my locally accessible private healthcare facilities could match. The initial consultation, explanations and discussion of outcomes given my long term existing eye condition was the most sensitive, clear and understanding I have experienced in many years. On the day of surgery, ultra-professional is the only way I can describe it. clearly concentrating on his technique and skill which for me as the patient lying there was exemplary. The overall outcome of my bilateral cataract extractions and intra-ocular lens implants has more than exceeded my expectation and I cannot thank him enough for the difference he has made to my vision. And the personal phone call 3-days after each surgery again was effective plus the direct access if needed. My own optometrist has also commented following examination, of the precise surgical skills by one of the UK's top cataract surgeons I would also like to pay tribute to both Alex his optometrist - again amazing and so professional and also the back office team who again were exemplary and sadly atypical of much of healthcare in the UK at the present time.
