I had my Keyhole surgery by Mr. El-Husseiny at Charing Cross Hospital on the 26th of November 2016. I found him to be a good surgeon with a good touch of humanity and understanding. Before the operation he explained in details with diagrams what is involved. At the end of the operation, and after recovery from anaesthesia, I saw his face with a smile and was holding the extracted stones in a bottle saying "all went very well", I thought was very important and re-assuring. Just seen him again for a followup appointment, when he explained to me the long term management of renal stones, which was reinforced with leaflets. He makes you feel comfortable and give you all the time you need to answer all your questions and concerns. Right from the beginning Mr Tamer El-Husseiny,s attitude towards me as a patient showed how much he cares , before and after the surgery. I can never forget , just after the operation , and I was still under a general anaesthetic influence , his reassuring words : " everything went well " I have heard his words and dozed off again. He attended me all the time even on Sunday , when I thought it was his only day to rest and it was even not fair to expect it as I was leaving the hospital on Sunday , but he did just to make sure that I am well and everything else.
