Easy to talk to with clear explanation of procedures. Instills confidence and has a reassuring manner

Mr Rogers is extremely approachable. This was my second surgical procedure with him, the first being highly successful, so I had every confidence in his ability. The eyelids are a very sensitive area but I had every faith in his skill which is second to none. My optician echoed that view when I mentioned that he would be operating. There is no sign of any scarring on my previous operation site and I fully expect there to be none on my second one, once it has fully healed. Given that this operation occurred just after lockdown from Covid-19, I was impressed with the smooth handling of all procedures.

I was very nervous prior to having the procedure on my eyelid. Mr Rogers was so kind and helped me to feel more relaxed during the surgery by explaining what he was doing and chatting to me throughout. He made me feel much more confident if I need any other eye surgery in the future. I was very worried about having the local anaesthetic but he said he would make it as pain free as possible and I didn’t feel any pain at all. I was surprised when he said that he had finished the procedure as I didn’t feel anything. He telephoned me the next day to ask how I was which was very thoughtful especially as it was a weekend. I then had a follow up after two weeks and told him I was really pleased with the result. I would not hesitate to have him as my surgeon again.
