Simon is a very personable surgeon who I found easy to relate to and his explanations were clear and to the point.

I cannot recommend Mr Fisher highly enough. At the initial consultation, Mr Fisher was quick and clear with his diagnosis (inguinal hernia) and he made sure that I understood how he proposed to correct the problem and what was involved in the surgery. He patiently answered all my questions and took his time in explaining what had caused the condition, how it was to be treated and the recovery process. Mr Fisher was informative, reassuring and listening to him speak was a genuine pleasure. Mr Fisher's enthusiasm for his craft was self-evident and his willingness to share his knowledge and skills was not only fascinating but also served to put me at my ease. On the day of the procedure, Mr Fisher again showed endless patience in answering any last-minute questions I had, and he made a point of introducing me to the nursing staff who would be looking after me. Mr Fisher came back to see me while I was in recovery to make sure everything was satisfactory and his care and attention at all times was first rate. The procedure itself went off perfectly, and I can honestly say that it was a painless experience. I am pleased to report that my recovery is now complete, and the operation itself has left me with minimum scarring, a testament to Mr Fisher's undoubted abilities. Strange as it may sound, I genuinely enjoyed the experience of having my hernia repaired and this is in no small part due to the care, skill and dedication of Mr Fisher. I would recommend Mr Fisher without hesitation and I feel fortunate to have been a patient under his care.

He was very easy to understand and did a very good job…..his timekeeping for appointments runs a little late, but I’m sure he’s very busy. I’m very happy with the outcome.
