This was my second time having my baby delivered by Dr Seni via C-Section, and it was a seamless experience, just as my first. From consultations during pregnancy, to delivery, to aftercare, he made my entire experience a wonderful one. I can’t recommend Dr Seni highly enough! He is pleasant, attentive, extremely knowledgeable, reassuring and always available to answer questions, offer advice and give detailed explanations to all your concerns. Dr Seni deserves more than 5 stars as he is undoubtedly the best OBGYN!

My wife gave birth with Dr Subair. Dr Subair is a great professional and a kind gentleman. He is very knowledgeable, attentive, empathic, thorough, patient, very clear in communicating with both of us and happy (with a smile) to explain again concepts that I didn't grasp the first time. He is a good listener, open to suggestions and specific birth preferences but firm in assuring that the priority is always the baby's and mum's wellbeing and safety. I always felt comfortable and relaxed because both my wife and baby were safe and in good hands. I highly recommend him and if we are going to have another baby we are definitely going back to him. It was a great experience.

Excellent in all ways possible. I had never had a male gynecologist before but I knew I wanted to birth at UCLH due to a very challenging 2nd birth elsewhere that ended up in us staying at UCLH's excellent NICU for many weeks. Dr. Subair was one of a few obyns we "interviewed" and the only male and he stood out for a number of reasons: 1. My previous birth had been traumatic and ended in an emergency c section- he spoke realistically yet empathetically about vbac on which he is clearly an expert. I felt 100% safe under his expertise 2. Dr. Subair was incredibly conscientious and went over and above. He didn't have to do this - none of the others we met did - but he went through literally all of my files and notes from my previous birth. I think I had hoped the other obgyns we met would do this which is why i sent them my notes. But I did not expect them to because there were a lot of documents, lab results, handwritten comments etc (it was very complex) and so I was fine they had bothered to just read the summary. But Dr. Subair is an overacheiver. He likes forensic obstetrics and he read everything and took noted. I thought no one knew my history the way I did as I had obsessively gone over them myself. But he did and I felt he understood me better for that. I was also just pleased that he cared. 3. He was born to be a doctor as he has exceptionally high emotional intelligence. Because he read my notes, and also read me very well, I truly think he adjusted himself to what not only made me comfortable but also to what his clinical and anthropological judgment suggested that I needed. I still had unanswered questions from my 2nd birth despite having pored over my notes with medical family, the hospital where the birth took place and with my own work in processing the trauma with a professional. My personality type is also particular...and he cleary picked up on that. He was a neutral expert who bothered to read in detail what happened and the lead up (he read though my antenatal scans and blood results as well) and he answered everything he could and was humble enough and patient enough look it up for things that he couldn't immediately answer. Mind you, this was before we had even decided on him as our obgyn! 4. I trusted him completely. He always listened. He never tried to shoo away my fears. He never pulled rank. He allowed me to as all sorts of questions from the mundane to the medically impossible to answer. He was not only patient bit kind and made me feel really heard. My husband loved that someone else was there to manage my anxieties around this 3rd birth. My husband loved Dr. Subair by the way. While he didn't need all of the detailed explanation and assurances that I did, I think he had his own low level worries. Dr. Subair made him feel completely at ease. 5. He really truly listens. He tried to give me everything I wanted in my birth within reason and it was very easy to trust someone who was so thorough and conscientious. There were a couple of complications that came up along the way. One huge one in fact. He just saw them as challenges to work around. He reached out to other doctors that had to be involved in other aspects of my care before they even thought to involve him. He is clearly well respected. 6. Even though I thought I had processed my second birth reasonably well with great PTSD therapy, Dr. Subair was very aware of my mental health and supportive to both me and my husband. I ended up fine throughout the pregnancy thanks in some part to his care and reassurance. 7. He was hilarious! He's just a good guy all around. Very funny very friendly very relatable. He's a genius doctor, sure, but with the most ridiculous ringtone in the world - how can anyone be intimidated? In many ways, the experience of my third pregnancy, labour and birth was so much the opposite of my 2nd in such a wonderful beautiful way with Dr. Subair, that it felt like I had the closure I didn't realise I still needed. My first birth was incredibly calm and magical so my second was such a shock in how terribly it went that I didn't expect I could ever get back to the sort of birth I had the first time. In fact, thanks to Dr Subair I had a wonderful birth. I was listened to. I was cared for. And mostly I had full 100% confidence in him and what he told me. We are forever grateful for his time, expertise, professionalism, kindness, gentleness, cheerfulness, great humour and patience.

Mr. Seni Subair was a fantastic consultant, he was was very easy to reach and was always available to respond to my many questions at any time. He explained everything concerning the pregnancy Step by step without holding back, he reassured my husband and I. We would choose him again we got pregnant again.

Dr. Seni Subair is an exceptional doctor. Despite initially considering a c-section, his open communication and advice led me to opt for a natural birth. The experience was incredibly beautiful, and Dr. Seni, who came highly recommended, demonstrated professional guidance, kindness, and was very personable. His stellar reputation among Portland's staff is evident to all who meet him. Dr. Seni, is a truly special doctor, who offers holistic support for those inclined towards natural birth and is adept in emergency cases, handling them with added sensitivity especially in my case as I had a potential pregnancy related medical condition. Our experience with Dr. Seni was absolutely amazing and we remain thankful for our beautiful little girl Alina.

Me and my family are so grateful to Dr Subair for everything he’s done for us during the birth of our daughter. We had some complications due to the size of the baby but I felt safe and comfortable at all times with him and didn’t doubt him for one second. He kept calm and made sure my daughter and me are safe and that’s the most important thing. I can’t recommend him enough.

Highly recommend Dr Seni Subair. He made us feel very comfortable and safe throughout the whole experience. We had a plannned induction in week 39 due to a large sized baby which then ended in a c-section and can’t be more grateful for the whole experience and for giving a safe birth to our son. Can’t recommend him enough, always available, listened to our needs and very good communication through the whole process as well as so helpful afterwards too. Will without doubt contact Dr Subair again if we have a second child as he made us all feel so safe.

Dr Subair made our pregnancy and delivery a very positive experience. As a father I found great comfort in Dr Subair’s clear communication and directives whilst clearly listening to the mother and making her feel in control and calm about the whole process.

Doctor Seni was incredible. We had lots of twist and turns in labour that ended up in us needing a c section. He was there every step of the way and was patient with all our questions (and my tears). We honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything went despite it not going to plan. We feel so lucky to have had him as our doctor.

Mr Seni Subair provided us with the utmost care and dedication through our pregnancy journey and C section delivery with our 2nd child. Mr Subair is extremely knowledgable in his field and conducted our baby's delivery with great care and professionalism. This is best reflected by not only a positive C section experience but also my healing journey which has been excellent (currently day 10 post section) with a very neat scar. Mr Subair's interpersonal skills are commendable, he always brings calm to any situation with his friendly and caring demeanour and was able to explain all key points in an appropriate level of detail. Mr Subair was at our disposal at all times for any advice despite his very busy schedule and always made time for us. Our experience was more than anything we could have hoped for. We genuinely could not be thankful enough for his delivery of our son and would highly recommend Mr Subair.
