Really pleased with the result of my nose & sinus surgery. I can breathe properly for the first time in years and my nose is finally straight. Dr Jayaraj was excellent, explained everything and was so patient with me.

After almost 20 years of sinus and breathing problems I went ahead and booked an appoinment with Mr Jayaraj for a check up. I have had 2 previous operations with different doctors roughly 10 years ago. To my disappointment these were both unsuccessful and included my Tonsils being removed and cartilage being removed from the front of my nose. After looking at the inside of my nose Mr Jayaraj explained thoroughly my bent septum issue and also insisted I have an allergy test. It was shocking to realise that an allergy test had never been mentioned before considering my symptoms. The results came back and I was allergic to dust-mites quite severly. This plus my bent septum concluded why I had always had a problem breathing and restricted airflow through my nasal passage. I went ahead and had a septum reconstruction with Mr Jayaraj and I can honestly say it has been life changing. From the moment I woke up from the operation I could tell airflow was improved, even with the fresh stitches and bandages on. It took around 2 weeks to heal enough for me to go back to work and I could not believe the difference. I could breathe freely through both nostrils and my mucus build up which would previously effect my talking was gone. Smell and taste has improved and when I exercise I find breathing is easier. Prior my ears would pop during intense exercise and this no longer seems to happen. I fully recommend Mr Jayaraj to anybody with similar problems as what I went through, if only I had scheduled an appointment with him 10 years I would of had this issue resolved a long time ago.
