I had a breast augmentation with Mr Saour (implants). After having children, I'd managed to get most of my body back to the same shape and size it was in my 20s but my breasts had completely deflated. My adult children told me this was not the time to go for the cheapest option, and made me promise to find a good surgeon! Mr Saour did an excellent job, leaving me with a natural look, with my pre-children figure restored and slightly enhanced! You would not guess that I've had a breast augmentation unless you were told. Mr Saour is a calm person who listened to my wishes and did an excellent job. He had a clear view of what would work well for me; actually I requested larger breast implants but he said he would not do that because he did not think it would produce a good result. He chose the final implant size during surgery after trying different options to see which would work best for me. He said he'd listen to my preferences, but as surgeon he had to make the final decision when he could see what he was working with. I respected this approach. In the event, he was completely right and I have been absolutely delighted with the results. I was on an online support group for breast augmentation with thousands of women worldwide, and my recovery was much faster than average. I didn't need the strong painkillers that so many women on the group used, and I didn't get much bruising at all. My recovery was smooth and I felt well, able to manage with over-the-counter painkillers from the morning after surgery and I only needed those for a couple of days. I believe this was due to Mr Saour's gentle and careful technique, and careful choice of implant size. I felt strongly that I did not want a breast lift. Mr Saour suggested the alternative of a Dual Plane approach which can help with 'deflated' breasts after having children. This has worked out wonderfully and I'm delighted to have been able to avoid lift incisions, while still getting a great look. I was very nervous as I'd never had surgery before, but on the day Mr Saour was very reassuring and the hospital staff were great, and actually it was all a really positive experience. I can't overstate how happy I am with the outcome. My recovery was smooth and, nearly a year later, my enhanced breasts definitely feel like they are my own. I could easily forget that I'd had surgery - they look and feel so natural!

My experience with Mr Saour was excellent from the outset. He was both professional and was as concerned with the precise aesthetics of the outcome as I. I was thoroughly well informed and made very aware of the potential risks and complications, which meant I did not enter into the procedure lightly or ill-informed.
