I found Mr Grogan to be pleasant, approachable, informative, professional and made my feel relaxed and reassured about my total hip replacement. I had Pearthes disease from the age of 7 and not had full range of movement or been pain free until my hip replacement. The five years previous to my operation I suffered greatly and was on constant medication. Since my hip operation I have been able to return fully to Sunday League football, snowboarding, running and downhill mountain biking. I am 50 years old but feel 20!! Having the replacement was most definitely the best decision and I cannot thank Mr Grogan enough for encouraging me to make it (and of course for doing the operation!).

Mr Grogans for me is a class above any specialist I have ever met. He has successfully treated me with fantastic results performing a partial knee replacement. I was initially in so much pain it was affecting my life, but after having an appointment with Mr Grogans who I found to be so knowledgeable and compassionate, I had no hesitation in his explanation and treatment of my knee which is now pain free. He is extremely diligent and trustworthy in his ways that I have now come back to him for my other knee to be done.

Have had both knees replaced and I am thrilled with the results of both and the care before, during and after.

Having had both my Knees replaced under the care of Mr Grogan, I can wholeheartedly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My post operative mobility has improved immensely, while his warm, kind, and personable demeanor reassured me throughout every step of my procedures. I saw Mr. Richard Grogan regarding a problem with my knee, I had previously had an arthroscopy by a different surgeon a few years earlier who had said that I would need my knee replacing in the future. From my first consultation to my final discharge I found that Mr. Grogan was extremely professional and caring, offering support and advice throughout. After examination and diagnostic tests Mr. Grogan suggested a total replacement of my left knee which was performed at the Ramsay Yorkshire Clinic a private hospital in Bingley, West Yorkshire. The care I received was exeptional throughout from both Mr. Grogan and the hospital staff. Now just over three years since the operation I have a new lease of life and am enjoying my love of the great outdoors with long walks and using my touring caravan. I cannot recommend Mr. Grogan highly enough for knee and hip replacement surgery and have recommended him to several friends.
