Was well looked after from start to finish and made me fee at ease and not nervous

Mr Barksfield was my consultant for ACL reconstructive surgery. During consultations he was caring and considerate, talking in laymans, happy to explain things to me and put my worries at ease. The surgery he performed on me, in my opinion, was first class, scaring was minimal and very neat. He even came to see me after my surgery to answer any of my questions which shows he cares about his patients. I have been completely satisfied with Mr Barksfields care, he is a complete asset to Gloucestershire NHS.

Explains everything clearly very approachable feel able to ask any questions always has time never feel rushed during appointments very thorough, extremely pleased with advice and guidance pre and post op. Very happy with Results of the operation.

The op went wonderfully well and recovery great - he dealt really well with the ossification complication when I confess I was struggling as the recovery seemed to have stalled.
