Mr Ray made me feel at ease with my procedure. he was very informative on what was going to happen during the procedure. He spent time making sire that i understood everything and that i was happy with what was going to happen. after the procedure Mr Ray was very prompt in seeing me after to make sure that everything was ok and that i had no concerns. The aftercare that Mr Ray game me on my follow up appointments was exceptional he was very caring and again very informative of what will happen as my recovery continued over the next few weeks, which made me feel at ease at different points of my recovery as Mr Ray had gone through everything with me it reassured me that it was nothing out of the ordinary that i was experiencing. Mr Ray is exceptional in his field and i am very happy with the way my procedure has gone and would highly recommend him to others. Thank you very much Mr Ray

Having my operation with Mr Ray was a wonderful experience. All aspects of the procedure were explained as to what would happen and what I would expect afterwards which gave me great comfort in having toe fusion. I can now play golf without pain which I suffered from for 10 years prior to the operation.

From the start, a painful, severely damaged ankle, to the finish, a fused, pain free ankle, Mr Ray and his magnificent, super friendly team have been excellent. Highly informative about every aspect of the treatment, with every assistance and encouragement offered throughout the post op regime. The operation itself turned out to be hugely successful, pain free and carried out in 5 star hotel luxury. Yesterday after 13 weeks Mr Ray cleared me to do whatever I want, including driving. A big, big Thank You to Mr Ray and his Magnificent, Super Friendly team.

Explanation

After twenty plus years of pain in both ankles as a result of injuries received in playing hockey, and suffering with Bi Lateral Osteoarthritis. I was referred to Mr. Pinak Ray at BMI Kings Oak Hospital. Enfield. I underwent a TAR on my left ankle on February 10th. 2017. From the moment of anaesthetic being administered I have not had pain in that ankle. My immediate recovery was two nights in hospital, then three weeks in a plaster cast, and four weeks in an Aircast boot. After the boot was removed I was able to drive again plus take part in playing bowls again with care and moderation, still without pain in my replaced ankle. I had two visits for physio and always done my exercises to the letter, still with the problem of severe discomfort from my right ankle. Ten weeks have now passed and still no pain, walking better with a much-improved lifestyle. I have enormous gratitude to Mr. Ray. I feel extremely fortunate in my referral to him
