Calm, thoughtful and through- reassuring

My experience with Dr Johnson was amazing. I would never go with another surgeon. I had a breast reduction that went wrong with another surgeon and I was very unwell. I’m met Mr Johnson when I was rushed to hospital and he looked after me ever since. I’ve had two surgeries with this surgeon. One on the NHS and the second privately and both times were brilliant. Very caring and knowledgeable man. Cannot thank this surgeon and his lovely secretary enough 100000/10!!! Chloe P

Outstanding care Firstly, Mr Johnson's secretary was very responsive and efficient. Before I had even got home from my procedure I had a proposed date to remove my stiches via email and once they were removed a proposed follow up appointment, again emailed to me the same day. Mr Johnson was very kind and clear on my initial consultation. Prior to my procedure he came to check I had no further questions. All the nursing/care staff at the Nuffield in Woking were very efficient and attentive. Mr Johnson and his team that assisted him during the procedure went above and beyond to ensure I was as calm as I could be and out of any pain. The scaring is very small; it simply looks like a scratch which is amazing when I think he took a Lipoma out which was 6cm in diameter on a very visual part of my chest. My thanks to the whole team.

Very difficult not to mention the whole of the Nuffield Woking Team as they were so supportive. However, having previously had surgery with Mr Johnson, I already had confidence in him for a further operation. He ensured I understood (and was happy with) everything we discussed pre op and gave advice re healing and follow up at 6 week review.

Mr Johnson is a great surgeon, precise and to the point and professional. I was quite a nervous patient but was re-assured by Mr Johnson.

Mr Johnson has been my consultant for two years since I found a lump on my breast. After surgery, I had radiotherapy and every time, staff was commenting on my scares and ask me who was my surgeon. 2 years later I can’t see anything on my breast and very small scare under my arm. Since I had 2 yearly checks where he makes me confortable even in my most vulnerable position. He always make sure I don’t get undress till I have a chaperone to protect both of us.
