Dr Elgohary performed surgery to remove serious (large) cataracts for my brother in spring 2021, scheduling his surgery for as soon as possible after a period of lockdown. My brother was delighted by the care he received from Mr Elgohary, which was life changing, given the extent of the cataracts by the time he was operated on (he was unable to get operations on the NHS for a year due to Covid). The two operations were 3 weeks apart - and after each his vision was restored in a way that was wonderful to see. He was immediately reading! Mr Elgohary took plenty of time to speak with my brother after each operation to check all was well, as well as arranging a check up. Hala, Mr Elgohary's assistant, was also extremely helpful with all the arrangements. We would highly recommend Mr Elgohary.

I wanted to say a massive thank you for all the help you gave me during my eye mishap earlier this year. I honestly can't express enough my relief and gratitude that you were able to bring back my sight from the 'dark' - it is something we take far too much for granted until it is threatened - and we are lucky to have talented folk such as yourself to come to the rescue. I remember how busy your clinics were and your reliance on tea to get you through so I have send a token of my appreciation that might help support as well!
