I saw Mr Shafafy within two days of making an appointment at the Spire Hospital in Nottingham. The following week I had an MRI scan. The week after that I had pain killing injections in my back. The relief was amazing after suffering years of pain. The treatment and kindness I received from both the nurses and Mr Shafafy was exceptional. Brilliant treatment

When I attended my appointment with Mr Shafafy l left with hope that if successful my operation would greatly improve my life ,was in my mind convinced that I was in a safe pair of hands .My hole life has improved greatly since my operation.

Excellent care and treatment received by Mr Shafafy and team. When i went to see him i could hardly walk. Following treatment i was virtually pain free. Long may it continue.

Good communication. I just should have asked to see the scan rather than be told about it. I had forgotten to ask as I was nervous at the time but I thought he would have shown this to me.

All my consultations covering my condition and MRI results were explained in full. After 60 years of pain and other doctors treatment and their results, I have at long last been given a diagnosis by Mr Shafafy.

A truly excellent surgeon. An example of the best a human can be in their field of expertise. The operation on my daughter's spine was textbook and of course life changing in that it sorted out her severe case of scoliosis. Everything was explained well and he saw her at follow up appointments afterwards until her discharge after one year. I am truly grateful that we came across Mr Shafafy.
