I have had painful unsightly bunions for as long as I can remember. I have struggled to get shoes to fit me over the years, even the so called 'wide fit' styles which never seemed wide enough. I dreaded the summer months only because my feet were on show in sandles! On a sunbed I would always cover my feet with a towel to hide them! The pain increased in both feet and I went to see Mr Nandlal who told me on first glance that my bunions were severe but that he could operate on them. He spoke to me at length about the operation and post operative do's and don'ts and answered any questions and concerns I had. Mr Nandlal operated on my right foot in September 2019. This was my first ever operation and on the morning of the operation he patiently talked me through again what he was going to do etc putting my mind at ease. When the dressing was removed two weeks later I was so shocked to see my foot and how straight it was! The scar healed very well and is barely visible and is just to the side of the foot. I have just had my left foot operated on a few weeks ago and again, the foot looks amazing and is healing well. I have followed Mr Nandlals advice re post op recovery to the letter which has worked I think in getting a great result. Mr Nandlal has been very professional at all times, I cannot thank him enough.
