Mr Liaquat performed a microdiscectomy to resolve an L5/S1 disc herniation which was compressing my sciatic nerve. Before surgery I was barely able to walk and 6 weeks post surgery the results so far have been excellent. I had minimal postoperative pain and only now have some residual nerve pain in my foot which we expect will resolve over time.
