Mr Hani Abdul-Jabar was very welcoming and had a polite, professional manner. He explained matters clearly and efficiently, which helped me understand the reasoning as to why I was having my symptoms and suggested ways in which to tackle them.

I was increasingly concerned about the infection I had contracted since my hip surgery at CCH (not undertaken by Mr Hani Abdul-Jabar) on 29th May. HAJ saw me as my Surgeon was away. I had sent him details about my condition which he had read so he was familiar with my concerns. HAJ clearly set out what were the possible complications as a result of the infection. He described the complications in a way that I could understand and answered fully the questions that I posed. His advice that I present myself to the NHS in seven days after my appointment (if the infection persisted) proved to be spot on. (I am an NHS patient whose hip replacement had been outsourced to CCH). All in all, a professional and caring approach which exhibited both HAJ's extensive knowledge of hip surgery and his reassuring manner.
