Dear Mr Allardice, A note to say a big thank you for all the care and great expertise you have so readily shown towards me and more appropriately my feet and ankle over the last four years! I am so fortunate to have been referred to you and to have my mobility restored through your skill and attention to details. Many thanks again.

Explanation

Dear Mr Allardice, You will no doubt remember the Achilles tendonectomy you performed on me last December. At the time, we were thinking of having my second tendonectomy this summer, and about a month ago I passed the point at which the operation would have taken place if it had been carried out as originally planned. I have had no significant problems with my right foot in the eight months since my operation. I am still not very good at walking on tiptoe, and I have recently discovered that climbing a ladder is pretty much the same thing as walking on tiptoe, so I am increasing my tiptoe exercises. But other than that, everything seems to be fine with my right foot, and I have as yet had no appearance of pain in my left foot. So the purpose of this note is just to thank you for your skill in performing the operation, which from this vantage point seems to have been a complete success.
