He explained the procedure very clearly together with the possible side effects and risks. Unfortunately my op had to be delayed due to a urine infection but he was very accommodating and quickly arranged a revised date. He was very reassuring on the day of the op and discharged me quickly and efficiently on the following the day. By the of the follow up appointment I was recovering well and he gave me the option of being discharged then (which I took) or have a follow up appointment in a couple of months time. It would have been helpful to have highlighted more prominently that I was required to provide a urine sample at the follow up. I have contact details for Mr Gkougkousis should I have further issues following the procedure and would feel very comfortable doing this should the need arise.
