We can’t fault our experience with Dimitri. Our case wasn’t without its challenges and Dimitri approached every stage methodically and with great care. Throughout our treatment both Dimitri and nurse Shelley offered clear reasoning for certain approaches, listened to any concerns we might have and helped us understand the options available to us. It felt very much like a dialogue and that we were working as a team, which really worked for us. We can’t thank Dimitri and Shelley enough for the huge part they played in the arrival of our baby boy earlier this year.

We have been under Mr Mavrelos's care since we started our treatment in 2018. His kind words and approach was well personalised and he has gone out of his way many times. Although we have had some failed attempts, Mr Mavrelos was open to share his opinion on the most current research available and whether it could be useful to our scenario. In 2020, we achieved our first pregnancy however unfortunately it led to an unexpected preterm delivery. The support provided then and following from then, albeit within the realms of a consultation, has been exceptional. We achieved another successful pregnancy this year and I am sitting here today with our baby boy. Mr Mavrelos has helped when there were early 'scares' in the pregnancy, ensured the correct team were aware of my previous pregnancy outcome and kept in touch throughout. We are forever grateful for all he has done. A genuinely kind hearted doctor, we could not be more pleased with his care.

He responded quickly to any queries I had, was very professional and carried out my scans and procedures. I very much trust him as my doctor.

We met Mr Mavrelos for a procedure prior to our IVF treatment and from our very first consultation we felt totally at ease. Always took the time to explain things clearly and provided us with all the necessary information we needed to make informed choices. IVF can be challenging but we felt completely supported every step of the way, all thanks to Mr Mavrelos and his team. He was always patient, thorough and kind throughout our treatment and we felt that we were in very safe hands. We are very grateful that he was responsible for our treatment and extremely thankful to him as we are now in the first trimester of our pregnancy. Should we try for another pregnancy, we wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again.

We felt in such safe hand with Dr Mavrelos. His approach was informative and kind, taking time to explain the parts of the process we didn’t understand with clarity and empathy for our experience. He was upfront and honest about our situation and chances which we appreciated. Outside of our booked appts he was happy to answer emails (always very promptly) and we felt very supported by him on both a clinical and human level.
