Mr Christian West made me feel comfortable he was professional from start to finish all my questions where answered and I am very happy with my surgery results.

Lovely man, felt completely at ease and comfortable . Nothing seemed too much trouble. Full simplified information given along with diagrams and with photos of procedure I’m interested in having and what I should realistically expect. So looking forward to my surgery.

Mr Christian West gave me a comprehensive explanation of what to expect before during and after surgery. He has a very pleasant manner and made me feel confident in going forward with the procedure. His support after surgery has also been excellent and I am extremely happy with the results.

Mr West has been brilliant from the first time we met to date. He has always been very clear in explaining the procedure, different options, any risks or complications that can occur. He also checks that you are understanding what you are hearing. This shows an excellent awareness of how difficult some of the terms can be to some people. I found it was also very easy to contact Mr West as quite often questions arise after you have left a consultation, it was simple to contact his PA who promptly gets back to you with any information you may need. Mr West always made sure you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I would thoroughly recommend Mr West to anyone who is considering surgery. I am 6 weeks post op and I could not be any happier than I am, I have received excellent after care and I am incredibly happy with the results. I feel my confidence has been boosted. I would say Ive had a most excellent service and cant thank Mr West enough.

Mr West performed a full tummy tuck procedure on me in July. When I first went to him for consultation he was really understanding of why I felt I needed the procedure, after two c-sections I had quite a bit of drooping skin snd I had lost all tone and shape of my abdomen - nothing I did seemed to improve the appearance of my tummy and as a result I had been feeling very self-conscious and unhappy. Mr West explained everything to me and he made me feel at ease throughout the consultation, he reassured me and advised on which procedure would be most suitable to achieve my desired result. He was extremely accommodating and was able to work around my commitments to ensure I was able to have my surgery at a time that worked for me and would allow me to recover without too much disruption. I was kept informed every step of the way and felt that Mr West and his team were there if I needed them. The day before my surgery the hospital I was originally supposed to go to called and said that unfortunately they had to cancel due staffing issues within their own theatres. I was extremely disappointed but Mr West was amazing he called me directly to explain everything and his team worked hard to secure another theatre at a different hospital, this was moved to just a few days later which meant my surgery could go ahead as planned. On the day of my surgery Mr West visited me and talked me through everything and put me at total ease, when I woke up from the operation he came to see me again and it was reassuring to talk to him and know that all had gone well. Throughout the following days I was well cared for and although in pain I was extremely happy with the results. The follow up care I received was great and I felt that I could call if I had a problem at anytime. It is now almost 4 months since my surgery and I have a further follow up appointment for December, which shows that the aftercare does not just end when you leave the hospital. I am extremely happy with my results, the surgery has given me a totally different attitude about myself, I feel so much more confident. I have a flatter and more defined tummy and the scar is so neat and has healed really well. The results have improved both my mental and physical well being - my mood has improved greatly and it has improved my posture and as a result has eased some other back pain issues that I had previously been experiencing. For anyone considering this surgery I would say talk to Mr West and he will put your mind at ease, his bedside manner is fantastic, the results are brilliant and he’s a really lovely man. I can’t thank him enough for making such a huge difference to how I feel about myself.

My initial appointment with Mr West was a free consultation and I found him to be very amiable, putting me at my ease.The consultation was not rushed and he was careful to tease out my expectations and explained the surgery with patience. I came out of the Spire feeling able to make an informed decision as to whether to have the surgery and the impact it would have on my life. After surgery I have attended several follow up appointments and Mr West has continued to answer any concerns I may have. A further appointment 6 months after surgery was arranged which was unexpected and reassuring.

Mr West listened to my concerns at our initial consultation. He was able to recommend surgery that he felt would be appropriate for me. He discussed the surgery in detail and made me fully aware of the operative process and my recovery period. Mr West met with me prior to the surgery, during my post operative recovery and prior to returning home from the day surgery. I have also met with him for my six week follow up appointment after the surgery. I have found his manner throughout to be friendly, professional and reassuring. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

It was a lovely experience having Mr West look after me during my plastic surgery. He has a wonderful manner, explains everything in detail, and most importantly listened intently to what I wanted from my breast surgery. He gave advice from his years of experience, which I was able to take on board and consider my options. I had a consultation with another surgeon before Mr West was recommended to me and I was much more comfortable and confident after seeing Mr West. Could not recommend him enough, and I already have to others who have asked about breast surgery. I am very happy with my results.

From the moment I spoke to Mr West I knew that he would be the surgeon I would be using. He was polite, helpful, very knowledgeable and gave clear explanations. He was more than willing to answer any questions I had in the run up to my surgery. Whilst in hospital he explained again exactly what would be happening and again answered my questions. After the operation I received fantastic aftercare from Mr West and the hospital in general. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my procedure and would not hesitate to use Mr West again for any future procedures. I would fully recommend him to others.
