Mr Azi Samsudin is, in my opinion, a first class urological surgeon and a gentleman. He is sympathetic and understanding of the personal nature of urological examinations and treatment. He puts you totally at ease, ensures you fully understand the issues and implications of the diagnosis and any treatment, and makes you feel like you are the most important person to be considered. He puts you at ease and is careful - even in a busy hospital ward scenario - to protect your dignity and confidentiality. I would recommend him at any time.

At my first consultation with Mr Samsudin I was immediately made to feel at ease by his personable, friendly, kind and considerate nature. I have subsequently undergone three procedures to date under Mr Samsudin’s care to diagnose and treat a large bladder tumour. On each occasion, Mr Samsudin was extremely thorough and took all the time with my wife and I that we needed to fully understand the clinical findings, the recommended procedures I was facing, the risks involved and the likely outcomes and next steps of my treatment. Mr Samsudin was incredibly caring and sympathetic towards us and helped us through a very emotional number of weeks when I was first diagnosed. The surgery performed by Mr Samsudin has resulted in successful resection of my bladder and the biopsy histology results have shown no evidence of any remaining cancer. While in hospital for the operations performed by Mr Samsudin and his support, I felt confident that I was in the very best hands. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Samsudin for his engaging personality, experience in his field and his incredible surgery skills.

Needing to see a urologist urgently I was offered an appointment with Mr Samsudin. This name was not familiar. He was very professional but with a very easy manner. I would be more than happy to recommend this consultant either on a private or nhs referral.

Mr Samsudin was very informative about where the stones were, showed me via x ray and explained about treatment options clearly. He also gave me advice about how to avoid stones growing and asked any questions I had regarding stone formation and how to prevent it. Dr Samsudin then proceeded to give me a health and diet sheet to take away in order for me to be able to change my diet to avoid further stones being produced - something I am very concerned about. I went away feeling confident and reassured.

Mr Samsudin provided personable and exemplary professional conduct throughout my treatment and aftercare. I could not have asked for more.
