Received exemplary care by Mr Shah and his Registrar. Still receiving excellent care following surgery 16 months ago. Have complete trust in Mr Shah.

Mr Amit Shah replaced my worn out right hip in January 2019 I found him very easy to talk to he explained things very well and put me at ease, the operation went well he personally checked on me during my three day stay in hospital and three times in next twelve months. I am very grateful for his care.

I saw Mr Shah with regard to have total knee replacement Oct 18 He took time to explain in plain English what the procedure would involve also he did listen to any concerns I had with regard to this forthcoming surgery. I felt very confident when the time came to be admitted in Jan 19 & I was up walking to the bathroom the next day !! Amazing ! And went home the following day after being seen by Mr Shah who gave me further advice with regard to my recovery. And at my follow up appointments again listen to any concerns I had ....which were very minor! I am hoping to get my other knee done as soon as possible & feel very confident that it will be as successful as the first one !! I feel that he is very competent surgeon in his field....lovely man !

Mr A Shah is very pleasant and understanding, who took time with the patient to explain any worries the patient may have with regards to Hip replacement surgery. His bed side manner when he is talking to the patient, will try to elevate any worries or concerns that you may have both prior to and after the Operation. Mr A Shah then asked would I like to let my wife know following the operation how I was after the surgery. I was so pleased with the first R/Hip replacement, I need to have my L/Hip replaced and again I choose Mr A Shah to do this one as well. I now haven got my life back and enjoying my new found mobility, after years of suffering ......................

Mr Shah did a my knee replacement in June 2019. He listened to my personal preferences for a general anesthetic (i suffer from sever anxiety) and was very kind and explained things thoroughly. I was informed after the surgery it had taken a lot longer due to the terrible condition of my knee... however, i was up and walking the very next morning, and was discharged later that day.. only 22 hours after coming back from theater. I had worked hard prior to my surgery, and continued to make great progress after due to the continued care of my physio. At my 6 month review he said he was delighted with the knee as am I because for the first time in 15 years i am almost pain free. He is a wonderful surgeon. Thank you so much Mr Shah.

Mr Shah replaced both my knees in 2019 (February & October), having first met him the previous year. My only criticism came at the initial appraisal, when I felt like another item on the production line. However, after this, his professionalism and the results of his surgery are/appear to be exemplary. I was mobile after both operations just 24 hours after the surgery and in the case of the second operation, only required the crutches provided as an afterthought. I was able to go out for a country walk 2 1/2 weeks after the operation and am now looking forward to skiing next week, only 14 weeks since the second procedure. Am sure things could go less smoothly, but in my case, the operations appear to have been a complete success with minimal impact on my day to day life.

Had my full knee replacement 2yrs ago with Mr Shah, absolutely fantastic surgeon and explained everything to me from my 1st appointment to my discharge. 6 weeks ago I had my hip replacement, yet again everything was perfect, I know I'm in the best hands with Mr Shah, couldn't recommend him enough, such a lovely gentleman, thank you for my new lease of life!!!
