I felt very positive after the appointment because now something was to be done to thoroughly investigate my condition. I felt confident that he could help me. I came to the appointment with documentation that I had prepared and other from my GP surgery so that Mr Omar had a complete account of my current problem and some medical history. He asked additional questions that made me realise although I have been taking medication it was not totally working, so more investigations were now required to determine a cause. He briefly explained the 2 main investigative procedures he was going to use to provide data that he could analyse in order to decide the cause and any necessary treatment. I researched these on the internet and was reassured that Mr Omar had stated that in most cases there was not a serious cause. This has helped with keeping worries under control at present.

I found Mr Omar to be extremely helpful in the way he explained the procedure that he had prescribed for me and this continued when i met him to discuss his findings and prognosis. His manner is very engaging and i was put at ease very quickly. This atmosphere allowed me to ask questions which in turn addressed any concerns that I had. Mr Omar is clearly very experienced in his particular field of medicine and there wasn't a question that he couldn't answer which again made me feel that i was in excellent hands.
