I had suffered for years with heavy periods. I had seen gynaecologists and had no successful treatments. I found myself needing to pee more often and an Ultrasound Scan revealed a mass on my right ovary. After careful treatment, discussion and consultation I underwent a total hysterectomy via laparoscopic procedure with Miss Abedin. My first thought on waking up was that the surgery hadn’t happened! But in fact I had had quite a long procedure due to the spread of my condition. I can honestly say, I only took paracetamol for pain right from day one. I got up the next day and haven’t looked back. There was almost no pain, there was no trapped wind people complain of. It was amazing. I have needed HRT due to my age and we have worked through this and all options have been prescribed as needed and have worked. I am better than I’ve been for years. Thank you Miss A, throughout you have been approachable, considered and professional. I have felt in very safe hands. Highly recommend for any women’s issues, she has the best interests of woken in the heart of all she does.
