I suffered for a considerable time with a painful big toe and a very swollen foot, which woke me up every night . It felt like the toes had crossed over each other and got stuck. This could only be relieved by jumping out of bed and trying to stand up on my toes! This action was getting to be all too regular and I wasn’t sleeping either. One evening whilst having to lie on the bed with ice on my foot, yet again after a period of ironing, I looked on line to read about Mr Ed Ieong who’s site told me that help was available, and even described the surgery and recovery that would be needed to correct the offending toe. I contacted Spire and made an appointment to see him. From the moment I met Mr. Ieong I was put at ease and given hope that he could help. Great news. I had my operation which was a complete success. I visited Mr. Ieong in his clinic and post x-ray he said he was delighted with the fusion. I was recently discharged from his care and have recommended some of my friends who have foot/ankle problems and told them of his lovely approachable manner and excellent surgery plus aftercare.
