Diagnosed my son correctly within minutes; where the NHS took 6 weeks, 3 visits, 2 GPs, and a specialist to still mis-diagnose him. Without Dr. Gholam my son would still be screaming through the night.

She has taken her time to explain in detail the treatment process , food requirements, allergies etc. Karolina was very professional, knowledgable and able to give me a lot of information in regards not only to the skin problem but also to the life style and dietary requirements of the baby . Dr Gholam was recommended to us, after a frustrating period waiting for NHS referrals for my son’s acne. It was the best thing we could have done, I just wish we’d gone straight to her in the first place. She prescribed various medications/creams (including miracle drug, roaccutane) , explaining the whole process along the way. She met with us regularly for a review, blood tests , review of side effects etc. Dr Gholam even scheduled a last minute emergency appointment over the Christmas holidays to prescribe antibiotics when my son was struggling with the severity of the breakouts. She was able to recommend suitable skincare products too , which varied throughout the process depending on what medication/steroids my child was taking. My child has now completed 18 months of roaccutane (this is much longer than most people need it but the acne was severe). His skin is clear (did I tell you roaccutane is a miracle drug?!) and he is now using a topical cream to help with the mild scarring that remains (but will fade) . My son has his confidence back, he’s a different person. I cannot praise Dr Gholam any more. I now take my youngest to see her who has just mild acne. I have seen the psychological harm acne can have on teenagers, so my daughter now takes a mild dosage of roaccutane. Three months in and it’s already working wonders . If you/your children suffer with acne, please see Dr Gholam. You will be in safe expert hands, and you won’t look back.
