I recently saw Dr Latheef after 10yr+ of skin issues and many visits with both NHS and private Dermatologists (at least six, proving very expensive). These had not proved to be successful, I always left feeling disheartened, disappointed and untreatable. I had been given treatment that at best was a second guess, stab in the dark and told "oh well learn to live with it". Knowing that I had more than one condition, multiple, treatments for each could contradict each other. It was going to take a systematic approach from a very methodical, intelligent person who had patience, time and expertise. Dr Latheef was a different experience to any Dermatologist or in fact Dr I have ever seen. His calm demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took a full clinical history going back to a child to try assess what was going on, nobody bothered asking such detailed history before. There was no arrogance or assumptions to get to the root of the issues. Im not the easiest person to assess due to previous experiences i always feel ready to fail. Coming from a medical background i ask a lot of questions, Dr Latheef is so very patient with me, answers every question and is never offended by my barage of if, but, whys, hows. He genuinely cares and this comes through very strongly. My options were made clear to me and we had a plan. Two months in and my treatment is working, I actually feel like I am living for the 1st time in over 20yrs, without the shame of living with horrible skin, thanks to this Dr. He made me look at things I was worried about and read the clinical evidence based literature to allay any fears or misconceptions. I did see Dr Latheef privately but obviously my long required course of treatment would have not been an option this way. Dr Latheef referred me to his NHS list, he said he would see me quickly. I know this is a tall order working for the NHS myself, i was astounded when he arranged to see me week later. Everything he promises he delivers, he is very true to his word Dr Latheef works on a Saturday which is amazing on NHS treatment. I am so grateful and can not recommend Dr Latheef enough. Above everything he is such a nice man. I don't think I would be in the place I am if i had not seen him, at all. He understands the psychological effects of skin disease on his patients, other Drs I have seen have not, or dismissed this very quickly. I wish there were more like him and I had seen him years ago but moving forward is the only way. I highly recommend Dr Latheef and i have never recommended any Dr before, maybe im harsh critic! Which proves what a miracle worker this man is. On a last note, when he saw how happy i was at my last review Dr Latheef seemed over the moon too, genuine, which was very touching. It wasn’t until fairly later on that I realised my acne problem had fully grown out of hand. My GP was good at suggesting some basic creams/tablets for a while, but these did not do the trick.

I originally thought that my GP had totally disregarded me altogether as they did not contact Living Health Care for a while. In fact I wasn’t even made aware of Living Health Care, or Dr Latheef, so I decided I had to take matters into my own hands to fix my serious skin problem as it was getting worse and worse.

After finding a “Skin Doctor” in Leeds, I was informed that some of their treatments such as laser, could help cure my acne. I spent around £400. I saw zero results. Do not be lured into these cosmetic specialists. This certainly was not helping. I was distraught and had felt that there was no hope or help left. I hit rock bottom both with my the psychological and physical pain from my skin and with the disappointment brought by another failed course of treatment. A few months later I received a phone call from Living Health Care and I enrolled with Dr Latheef. Upon meeting him, he was kind, honest and knew what would help me straight away. This was the day my life changed.

I was prescribed acne cream and the first few weeks were the most painful weeks of my life - this medication was incredibly strong - drying everything out: skin, lips, eyes. Changes were happening at an incredible rate though, people were noticing and I didn’t want this to stop. After 12 months of being on the treatment people are actually complimenting me on my skin! Me! On my skin! This medication truly is life changing and I am so happy that I came across Dr Latheef. He is a fantastic person with a great knowledge and rapport with his patients; I would recommend him and his support to anyone in a similar situation to me. Dr Latheef, I cannot thank you enough!

Dr Latheef saw my 1yr old son after I had struggled to find a solution to his eczema.Dr latheef put us both at ease with his kind manner and prescribed a cream,bath emollient and moisturizer which has been fantastic at clearing up my sons condition!I highly recommend him.

I have had psoriasis since I was 13 years old, I am now 33. It has affected me emotionally, psychologically and physically. It has fluctuated between mild to severe but has always been really bad on my scalp, where it can be easily seen. I tried every cream and ointment available to little affect. After having my daughter 2 years ago, it got worse than ever. It got to a point where 75% of my body was covered and yet doctors never really took the time to help. They just told me to book an appointment and get on the waiting list and prescribed me yet another steroid cream. How do you apply cream to your whole body every day?! After joining the waiting list to a provider and waiting for a couple of months, I was told they didn't have the capacity to see me and that I should go back to a doctor and get another referral. To be honest, I gave up and accepted that I just needed to continue to cover up my whole body until my condition subsided itself. Upon my Grandma realising how bad it had gotten, she pushed me to go private and see a specialist. She found Dr Latheef online and gave me his details. I contacted his secretary Christine who was very understanding and helpful. Unbelievably I was given an appointment to see Dr Latheef in just 3 days! After all the waiting, it was a major relief. When I met with Dr Latheef he was very understanding and made me feel comfortable. He was shocked that I had put up with my condition for so long and as my case was so severe, that someone hadn't done something sooner. He put me on steroid tablets but wanted to monitor me, so booked an appiinfment to see me in a few weeks. Within a week, my skin was thinning out and it started to fade on my arms. By the end of the 6week course, It was no longer thick scales but had even gone in many places. I have now been given longer term treatment and am being monitored closely. I cannot thank my Grandma enough for forcing the issue. In the next couple of weeks, I may even be able to wear a t-shirt out in hot weather or take my daughter swimming for the 1st time. I would highly recommend Dr Latheef. He goes above and beyond and genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. It is because of him that I will get some quality of life back and for that I am extremely grateful!

Honestly it’s been a wonderful experience with Dr Latheef and his whole team. They comforted me with my acne and made me feel comfortable about myself. They assured me that I’ll be happy and confident once again. In this 3 month course I faced 0 side effects believe me when I say this; I only had dried lips which I moisturised before going sleep by simply applying Vaseline and they were normal the next day. To everyone who’s going through this acne phrase in their life I guarantee you, you will no longer have to go through this bad acne after seeing Dr Lateef (talking from my personal experience) how can I forget the very day day I came and was insecure about my skin and had absolutely 0 self esteem but now I’m very well pleased with my face I have 0 spots neither do I have any dark marks. After years of suffering with my eczema with constant irritation and getting nowhere I was put in touch with Dr Latheef. He was the first person who seemed to know what he was talking about and also seemed very confident he could help. Dr Latheef has a lovely bedside manner. He explains everything clearly and relieved a lot of my anxiety about starting on Roaccutane. He is empathetic and provides good clinical care.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Latheef. I had been mis-diagnosed by 4 consecutive GPs prior to my appointment with him.
