Hi, I was first referred to Dr Latheef by my doctor for my acne, doctor Latheef was really friendly and caring. He suggested I start on a course of Isotretinoin soft capsules for a period of four months(longer if required) they work by stopping your body from producing oil therefore gradually eliminating acne. I was fully informed of any side effects that they may cause so was happy to continue. The only side effect I have had are a few occasional nose bleeds and dry lips. I am now entering my 6th month of treatment and hopefully my last. My skin is 100% better and I am so glad that this treatment was suggested for me, it has restored my confidence in my appearance again. I have been well looked after with follow up appointments every month when I am checked over and given the chance to talk about any side effects I may have experienced. Absolutely delighted to state that the entire experience of treatment from Dr Latheef and his team has been excellent. My skin condition is a very embarrassing, however at no time did I feel anything but comfortable. Dr Latheef's reassurance and expertise in this area helped me to understand my condition as he explained in (layman's terms) details of my condition. I feel I must also compliment the nurse (Laura) in her attitude towards me as I underwent initial examinations. Not once did I feel embarrassed, the main reason for this was her obvious and sincere empathy during the examination. Prior to my retirement I worked as an expert to inspectors of the Care Quality Commission and it is my intention to also write to the CQC to express my appreciation of the treatment I received. As a retired Professional Trauma Therapist and CBT counsellor I am very aware of the need for Doctors with good interaction with their patients and can state that throughout my visit every outcome required by the CQC was met and exceeded.

Dr Latheef has been fantastic throughout my dermatology treatment, I have seen various different specialists in this area and Dr Latheef has actually taken the time to look at the actual cause of my problem and suggested various ways on how to best combat it and prevent it coming back in the long term. Well where do I start.. maybe by saying I would highly recommend Dr F Latheef to anyone. I was finally referred to Dr F Latheef after suffering with acne for 18 years of my life and trying all sorts of medication from the doctors that just didn't work for me. Dr F Latheef was very welcoming and friendly he listened to the problems I've been having with my skin since I was a teenager and even thou it wouldn't of been the worst case of acne he had seen he never made me feel less important or that I was just moaning about nothing. He recommended that I take Isotretinoin he talked me through how long and how often I would take this medication for and talked me through the possible side affects. I have now finished taking my tablets and wow I am truly amazed at the results I did take before photos so I didn't forget how bad it was and to see the progress and end result. It really has changed me as a person the main thing for me is that my partner after 15 month of being with me now sees me with no make up on and is aloud to touch my face and back. The results have gave me so much confidence in my appearance I actually feel naturally pretty for the first time in my life. I would recommend the tablets to anyone and all I would say is don't read to much into the side affects everyone is different but my experience wasn't to bad I did get sore lips the whole time but nothing lip balm couldn't help with and my arms did get dry but I was given cream which helped the dryness and I didn't drink the whole time I was taking the tablets but it was totally worth it.
