Nothing prepares a parent for a diagnosis of a serious illness like Kawasaki. The information available often conflicts and it’s hard to completely comprehend each detail and how it may apply to your child. Unless you are directly linked to a professional, it is hard to know just who to listen to and trust. Dr. Yiannis Ioannou with his knowledge, professionalism and level of caring and concern helped take the stress out of an uneasy situation. Dr. Yiannis Ioannou is now my son's pediatrician and I highly recommend him without reservation.

I had my 3 months old son visited by DR Ioannou. We went for a specific issue and the doctor was really clear in the way he explained the cause of my baby's symptoms. He also answered some generic questions we had and gave a general check to understand our son's overall health. He has advised to follow up with another appointment to understand baby's development; DR Ioannou gave us a really good impression and I definitely recommend him.

As a new parent there are multiple concerns and questions constantly occupying your mind. Dr Ioannou is one of the most caring and patient people I have come across. He is very approachable and hears out everything in detail even if trivial. He is so genuine and always on top of things. His professionalism is incredible and in times of concern you can always count on him. To receive reassuring emails from him at 11pm is not something I have encountered before - he is a truly exceptional professional who couples his knowledge with an incredible human touch. Knowing my daughter is looked after by him is something that gives me a real peace of mind. I cannot recommend Dr Ioannou enough - game changer!

Coming from another country and not being familiar with the health system in the UK, dr Ioannou made us feel very comfortable with our 10 week old baby.

We contacted Dr. Ioannou to arrange a vaccination for our son. The whole experience from arranging the appointment, to actually having the consulation was of top quality. Dr. Ioannou is a wonderful person, and knows his field perfectly. During the consulation he showed an honest interest in our son, and wanted to get as much information about him as possible. Despite the fact that a vaccination is not a very pleasant moment for a child, Dr. Ioannou made our son feel safe, and the child was not upset at all. He followed up the next day to see if everything went smoothly, a gesture that very few doctors make! Hands down, top quality doctor!

I would highly recommend Dr Yiannis Ioannou to anyone. After being unable to get our sick daughter in to see one of the GP's at our regular practice, I reached out online for an appointment with Dr Ioannou. He got back to me personally and because he could not take us at the appointed time the internet gave, he made a special time and stayed late just to accommodate us. He was so great during the appointment also and went above and beyond to make sure that our daughter's results were processed, taking into consideration the expense to us. We were so blown away by this extreme act of good will. We will only be using Dr Ioannou from now on.

We've been seeing Dr. Ioannou since our son was just a few days old and have been extremely happy with him. He has always considered our concerns seriously whilst reassuring us when matters were not grave. He is kind, an excellent listener and overall a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend him to any friends and family and have already done so in fact!

Dr Yiannis Ioannou is my son paediatrician since his first days of life. He always is thoughtful and careful with his healthy. Recently our son had to be hospitalised and doctor Yiannis was absolutely amazing helping us and giving us all support until our son being discharged from the hospital. I am very happy that Dr Yiannis is our son paediatrician.
