Good, fast treatment

Sophie put my mind at rest, laid out a course of treatment, and arranged a follow up appointment. I was grateful I was seen so quickly following my GP referral.

I felt my specialist did not identify that I needed a plastic surgeon and that she was unable to offer the surgical treatment I was seeking. Therefore after a very short explaination of my condition , which I was already aware of , she requested her full fee of £260 there and then, which I paid of course. After this consult I truly felt that I had been kvercharged for what was just in fact a simple referal to a plastic surgeon. No empathy was shown and she certainly did not acknowledge that I had been sent to her wrongly by my GP. I had expected her to tweak her charges to reflect this fact., as she actually did very little in the short consult. Other consultants have done so in the same situation. However she was pleasant & professional .
