From the very start, Shanka made us all feel at ease and in control of my daughters life. I can't thank him enough.

My son was seen by Dr Shankar when he was 12 weeks old because he had a heart murmur which no one else could tell me more about it. I was particularly concerned because my son was due to undergo an eye procedure under general anaesthetic and we wanted to rule out any cardiac issues. He saw us at very short notice - 2 days before the scheduled procedure. When Dr Shankar met us, he was very professional and patient even as my son was very distressed. He did an Echogram and reassured me that his heart was ok. He was even helpful enough to suggest a general paediatrician to check my son regarding the other concerns I had and contacted him for us. In addition, he contacted the surgeon we had the procedure scheduled with to relay the findings rather than just hand me a letter to pass which I thought was brilliant! He rang me the following day to explain why they concluded that the procedure should be delayed until my son had been assessed as fit for surgery and General Anaesthetic. Frankly, not many doctors will dedicate so much time to one patient so I really found his helpful. My son (now 10months ) has returned for his follow up and Dr Shankar was still brilliant; and even taking time to ask about the procedure. Thank you so much Dr for ensuring the best outcome for my son.

Dr Sridharan has been exceptional throughout the whole process, in dealing with worried parents of an 18 month old baby. the service he offered pre appointment in arranging a time and location as soon as possible to the way he dealt with our child during the whole examination. Dr Sridharan took time at great length to explain what he was doing during the examination and explaining the results in layman terms putting both the patient and parents at ease. Dr Sridharan is a credit to his profession and I'm very grateful for everything he has done for my family.

As a Doctor I was extra diligent about finding the right Cardiologist to take care of my daughter. Shankar was remarkable both as clinician and in how he managed myself and my wife during a very worrying time for us; he was constantly in touch, took time to explain the details and of course his clinical care and expertise has resulted in my daughter now thriving following the repair of a significant PDA. Also he lives in the 21st century and can use technology to do basic things like text and book appointments, sounds obvious but so many clinicians have yet to embrace basic tools to make our lives easier...time for the dinosaurs to move aside! A brilliant physician with a remarkable bedside manner. Dr Sridharan called me himself before arriving to London assuring me that he "will take good care my little one". He booked all necessary tests/appointments and we were seen a day after our arrival in London. He is clear, concise, proactive and particularly humorous. We are almost sad we don't need to see him on regular basis!

My 14 year old daughter had a cardiology appointment and cardiac echo prior to planned surgery. Dr Sridharan saw us at very short notice and was showed compassion and empathy with our situation. We were anxious to exclude any cardiac abnormalities prior to surgery and hoped as parents that our daughter would be fine for her surgery and the future. Dr Sridharan was extremely professional and competent , our daughter was treated extremely well with dignity and respect . He spoke to our daughter and respected the fact that she was a teenage girl. Dr Sridharan has an excellent manner which put us all at ease Dr Sridharan ensured that the results and follow up letter were communicated to our consultant the same evening .
