When I was 48 I began to feel tired and as if I had little energy. It tok me around three months to conslt Dr Harper, who immedaiately recognised that my symptoms were connect to the menopause. I felt relieved as I had been experiencing, partocularily as I have a busy life. Dr Harper was knowledgable and offered me a mixture of medication and lifestyle advice. IT has made all the difference as Iam no longer worried about my symptoms, have more energy and much improved mood. I would certainly reccomend Dr Harper to any woman approaching the menopause or going through the menopause.

Explanation

I first began noticing mu symptoms around five years ago. I had aches and pains accross my shoulders. I felt tired and sad, as if I had lost my zest for life. I was also feeling fuzzy in my brain. I found all this very troubling. I began seeking help after a couple of months adn went to various doctors and tried differet terapies. I had several blood tests but nobody could figure out my problem. I felt I had a valuable xplaination only once Dr Harper- the fourth and final GP I consulted - confirmed that my problems were hormona. She suggested a medication that worked very well. The benefits were almost immediate. It has led to me feeling as if I am back to myself again. I would rather not have had to deal with the menopause but Dr Harper has made it muhc more liveable with and I have aready reccomended her to my friends.

Explanation

I was diagnosed with ovarian failure / early-onset menopause. For months I'd been in a 'brain fog,' struggling to focus, with extremely low energy. I also was having sudden sweats (soaking) and shakiness, and experienced a sudden weight gain of around 15 lbs. I hadn't associated this with early-menopause, particularly given my age. Once I was diagnosed and Dr. Shahzadi started me on a plant-based medication (important for me as a vegan) I gradually regained my clear thinking processes, ability to focus, and my energy. The hot flashes stopped. I also quickly saw my weight returning to its usual mid-point. I've been recommending Dr. Shahzadi to friends for several key reasons: She is clearly committed to delving into each individual case. Each time I visited her offices, she had been engaged in learning and thinking about my case, in order to help me find the right balance point. She adjusted my medication responsively to my reactions, and was available to talk with me as I needed as we ironed out the doses during the first several months. Finally, Dr. Shahzadi is personable, compassionate, warm and gracious--key skills often overlooked, that make a huge difference to patients. She puts one at ease from the start, and leaves one feeling confident and comfortable with the treatment and care.

Explanation

I first visited Dr. Shahzadi Harper after experiencing severe menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes, reduced libido, lost sleep, anxiety, weight gain and brain fog. She immediately validated my distress by attentively listening to me describe my symptoms and experience. She suggested a correct medical protocol, which included blood work and other assessments, and ended with appropriate prescriptions to treat my symptoms. Within weeks I was experiencing noticeable relief and now, more than 6 months later I have no hot flashes, anxiety nor brain fog, and now have a normal libido, sleep fairly well, and have lost 15 lbs. For all those suffering perimenopause or full menopause symptoms, please seek help. There are qualified and compassionate medical doctors qualified to help – Dr. Harper is one of them
