I was referred to Professor Riyaz Patel several years ago via a recommendation due to his speciality in treating familial hypercholesterolaemia. I was unable to go through with the treatment and advice at the time but due to new and persistent symptoms I decided to have a fresh review. Professor Riyaz summarised the results of the tests from several years ago and clearly explained the next steps and action plan. He is very thorough in his explanation and has a very calm and pleasant disposition. He answers all questions very patiently and has your best interests at heart (no pun intended).
