A sufferer of health anxiety, after some cardiac symptoms (wheezing, chest discomfort and palpitations) I was referred to see Dr Paul Bhamra-Ariza. Dr Bhamra-Ariza was very comforting and patient with me - he took the time to explain what was happening and provide reassurance. Dr Bhamra-Ariza and I consulted together over a period of a few months and he was always prompt at replying and one occasion even called me when he was feeling unwell. I really appreciated all the support he gave me in overcoming my issues.

I found Dr. Bhamra-Ariza easy to talk to and he fully explained about my heart arrhythmia and the further tests he proposed to be taken. He prescribed a beta blocker to see if that would correct the missing beats and fully explained any possible side effects, though I have had none. As the problem was one which needed a consultant that specialised in “electrical”impulses to the heart he recommended referring me to Dr. Wong. I would have no hesitation in seeing Dr Ariza again should I need to see a heart consultant again. John T

I suffered breathlessness in the last week of December and went to A&E in NHS who were less than thorough. I went privately to see Dr.Paul Bhamra, he made himself aware of my history even before i attended the appointment. When i discussed my symptoms he immediately arranged a Cardio MRI Scan which highlighted my problem. He explained the severity of my problem in the followup session and went out of the way to arrange a referral and faster appointment in NHS for attending nurse lead heart clinic.
