I was referred to Dr Lowe some three months ago following a diagnosis of Atrial Fibrillation. I had a cardio version which, although successful, lasted only a few days so Dr Lowe talked me through the alternatives and performed an ablation some 8 weeks ago. Again although the procedure was a success it didn’t succeed in getting my heart back into sinus rhythm so Dr Lowe prescribed propafenone. I found the side effects difficult to cope with but Dr Lowe responded very quickly to my distress and prescribed amiodarone. He talked me through the need to be patient as the combination of the ablation and medication might not be successful for some time. I have a Kardia device on which I can record my ECG and email the result to Dr Lowe, who encouraged me to do this on a regular basis. Just over week ago my heart reverted to normal rhythm and although it was the holiday period, I was able to get a message through his extremely helpful secretary, from Dr Lowe with reassuring advice about managing my condition. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Lowe.

I consulted Dr Martin Lowe with my young son for a second opinion on his heart problem, and was delighted with his excellent level of care. Everything was explained to us in a clear, concise way and we went ahead with investigations which were organised promptly, and when they were completed, we had a further consultation to discuss the results. The whole process was swift, painless and very reassuring. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
