I visited Dr Taghipour nearly 2 weeks ago on Friday 10 November in her Harley Street surgery in London. I went because my skin condition had been getting worse and worse over a period of several months and my GP in South Wales had not been able to recommend medications that produced improvement, so we agreed a private visit to a specialist was the best course of action. Dr Taghipour had treated by daughter for several years for Hailey Hailey Disease, so she was a natural choice for a suitable specialist for me to visit. Dr Taghipour fitted me in to her appointments within two days of my phone call, which was brilliant. Her examination was very thorough indeed and she initially thought I might have a mixture of Hailey Hailey and eczema (my previous long term diagnosis). So she took two biopsies for analysis by three tests. Within a week the diagnosis from two of the tests was confirmed as Hailey Hailey. The medication she prescribed has worked brilliantly, it was a mixture of stronger steroid tablets and ointment than my GP had prescribed, antibiotic tablets and a soap substitute for washing with. Since using these medications and following Dr Taghipour's other advice my skin is transformed! All the blisters have gone, my skin is much smoother, none of the patches are weeping and the reddening of the sites of the original blisters is getting less and less. A brilliant result! To make matters even better I feel much better in myself, the constant itching has gone, I am also less tired, happier, more active and feel far more like living life to the full. So it's fingers crossed for the future - I would have no hesitation in visiting her again. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr Taghipour was very professional and detailed in her work. Post op I had no pain, no swelling and used no pain killers. My scar is minimal and very tidy.
