I was impressed. Dr Kukendrarajah was very empathetic. Obviously very knowledgeable (which was a given - but combination of empathy + knowledge isn't always a given with some medical people). She was also very accommodating in allowing a follow-up conversation to be by Skype video, which my wife and I found very valuable. Also extremely thorough. I do feel that we have moved our daughter's situation on positively because of Dr Kukendrarajah's input. Thank you!

We've visited Dr. Kukendrarajah twice, this and last year, coming from abroad. Very professional and enjoyable experience. She provided a lot of information and her reports described in details the situation and provided useful recommendation on how to deal with our autistic son meltdowns. We are truly grateful for her support and assistance.

Dr Kukendra was very empathetic and co-ordinated a OT, educational psychologist and speech therapist to inform my sons diagnosis. She was very patient when she met my son and was able to obtain the information she required. The final diagnosis was very well informed and report also helpful as suggested helpful strategies to deal with behaviour of PDA. I would recommend Dr Kukendra as she very professional but also has the soft skills and excellent communication.

Dr. Kukendrarajah is excellent with her knowledge and skills and she listened to our all concerns and took us seriously. She was sympathetic and compassionate and so supportive with us. We found Dr. Kukendrarajah very professional and so approachable and down-to-earth. We would recommend her to anyone who was in need of help in looking at whether their child has difficulties with social skills. She has given us lots of extra information to look into, referred us to other professionals for a full assessment and gave us a good understanding of our child's needs. She explained it all clearly in lay terms and we are extremely grateful for her knowledge and skill and all her help.

First of all, terrible handshake. Found her extremely hard to understand verbally. Kept asking her to repeat. I don’t find her informative, she didn’t tell me anything i didn’t already know/read from written reports and failed to go into depth relating to results. Yet charges what she does. I expected much more from a doctor like this at The Portland. Seemed more interested in sharing and keeping samples for investigation than actually giving is any sound advice. If I come back I would request to see another doctor.

Dr Kukendra has seen our both our children within the last 2 years. We found her thorough and detailed in her analysis and diagnosis. She is easy to talk to and we felt that she heard and addressed our concerns and helped us understand the importance of early intervention. She undertook a detailed timeline evaluation of each child's developmental milestones along with several structured questionnaires on ASD and ADHD. Her assessment reports were not only very useful for the EHCP process but also for the schools as she suggested strategies and support that is necessary for our children to move forward. She referred us to excellent Occupational Therapists and Clinical psychologists as part of her multi-disciplinary assessment. We are very satisfied with our overall experience and rate her highly. Dr Kukendra is very specialized in her profession and we are grateful for her invaluable support for both our special needs children.

Dr Kukendra listens and is very approachable. She has a great team of specialists, particularly Ms Kemm, highly specialised Speech Therapist. As a result, we had total confidence in Dr Kukendra’s diagnoses for our children. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Dr Kukendra was recommended to us as a doctor who was very thorough and particularly good in complex cases. We are very grateful, Dr Kukendra was able to identify and diagnose our daughter - we are now able to understand her needs and help her get the support she needs. Highly recommended.

My wife & I cant thank Dr K enough with all the sympathetic help that has been shown throughout the process. We self funded & never felt it was about monetary gain & all about what was best for us a family. She went above beyond her brief giving us loads of practical advise as well as medical. I am so glad we found Dr Kukendrarajah for our son. We where having lots of problems with him that we did not understand. As soon as we met her she already had a good idea of what was going on and how to help us which was a huge relief. She was professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and my son was very comfortable with her. We are still in the early stages of getting to grips with our son's difficulties but without Dr Kukendrarajah's expertise we would not have known where to start. She has given us a good understanding and an excellent starting point with lots of extra information to look into. We are very grateful to her.
