I could not have wished for anything more from Dr Bhan. My whole experience was amazing and this was due to the professionalism Dr Bhan had, alongside the empathetic and human approach. Sometimes at hospitals, it can feel like you are being spoken at, instead of being spoken to and I never felt like this at all. Everything was explained fully, everything was made relatable and with family not being able to be there - Dr Bhan and his colleagues filled that supportive gap that otherwise would have been missing. I felt important and top priority during my time there. This was a scary and stressful period in my life and Dr Bhan played a huge part in making that more manageable. I had a PDA closure. Genuinely: life changing! I feel more energetic. My heart, from the scans, is strong and returned to ‘normal’. As a bonus, my skin, hair and nails are healthier. I have more energy to exercise and I am clear headed. From the initial consultation Dr Bahn explained clearly the need for the procedure and what would happen. On the day, he visited me to reiterate reassurance. My recovery was steady and I continue , 3 months later, to feel increasingly more healthy as the days go by.
