I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Mistry, and I highly recommend him. I had not seen a psychiatrist before and so he made his role in my treatment clear and I felt very well looked after and I also felt that his care was genuine. Dr Mistry has been exceptional since my first contact with him. Our first appointment was almost 2 hours in length and was a really comprehensive review of my mental health issues. I received a detailed and extremely accurate write up of our consultation the following day. Dr Mistry’s advice was wide ranging- covering nutrition, exercise, lifestyle, stress coping mechanisms as well as appropriate medication. Dr Mistry is incredibly responsive and has made me feel as though I really matter as a patient. His ability to make time at short notice and to deal with practical matters such as prescriptions has made my life much easier at a very stressful time for me. His ‘bedside manner’ is excellent - his explanations of issues are comprehensive and I have been treated as a rational adult throughout and as an active participant in my own treatment.
