My appointments have been on time, prompt and easy to follow. My treatment so far has been very encouraging.

Dr Desai-Gupta has a warm approach, she listens to our concerns and in the end suggests a treatment plan. A key aspect we found useful was that she spoke gujarati, she was able to communicate with my mum and understand exactly what was wrong and assured her it will be okay. She explained her condition in a manner which my mum understood and felt comfortable. She is extremely knowledgeable and great at what she does. Overall we had a very pleasant experience with Dr Desai-Gupta, and will be re-attending for a follow up.

The dr was very calm and understanding and non judgmental- which is extremely important to me as I’ve had bad experiences in the past that have left me traumatised with high anxiety, which makes me not share information, which I know will be detrimental to getting a thorough diagnosis. Instead of dictating a narrow set of symptoms that the doctor “thinks” you have like most do, she really listened to me, made great explanations for the symptoms, saw the bigger picture, was open to assessing all the things I wanted to, and I achieved a more clear and accurate assessment in the appointment, than I have in 12 years in the mental health service in the nhs. For the first time in a long time I’m actually calm and motivated to get my mental health on track. I highly recommend this doctors psychiatric experience. Thank you doctor.

Dr. Gupta was great throughout the appointment start to end. She listened and wanted to understand all my concerns, my mental health history and paid attention to detail which was refreshing!
